The teachings of Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh within the Asomdwee Ntonton Nkabom Som emphasize the critical role of the Holy Spirit and Fire Baptism (Sunsum Kronkron ne Ogya Asubo) as essential for salvation and protection against spiritual evils. According to Nyame Somafo Yawoh, only those who have received this baptism will enter Heaven on Judgement Day. This form of baptism, is a unique offering of the Asomdwee Ntonton Nkabom Som. Upon receipt of the baptism, the recipient is enveloped by a circle of protective fire and granted a light of the Holy Spirit that guides and shields them. Here are highlights of the teachings of Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, regarding the Holy Spirit and Fire Baptism:

  • According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, without the Holy Spirit and Fire Baptism, one cannot enter Heaven on the Day of Judgement.

This protective fire extends 17 yards in diameter, shielding the individual from harm as they go about daily life. No evil spirit can penetrate this circle of fire.
  • According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, the Holy Spirit from the baptism will hover seven feet above the baptized person like a light bulb. This Holy Spirit will ultimately transport the individual to Heaven on the Day of Judgement.
  • According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, upon death, the life (nkwa) of an individual enters the air (mframa mu).

During this time, angels and other benevolent spirits from Heaven will visit, interacting with the deceased until Judgement Day.
  • According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, on the Day of Judgement, judgement will occur on earth, and only the soul (okra) will be subject to judgement, not the body.
  • According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, if the individual passes judgement, the Holy Spirit light that hovers above will transport them to Heaven.
