Why the Whole World is Suffering
Teachings of Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh
Written by Mensah Adinkrah, Ph.D.
In His teachings, Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, the prophesied Elijah and the long-awaited Messiah foretold to descend to earth in the End of Days, addresses the pressing question of why the world is consumed by suffering. He observes that suffering has become a global phenomenon. Daily, news outlets report on floods, earthquakes, typhoons, cyclones, extreme heat, suicides, early mortalities, disease outbreaks, and untimely deaths. It appears that no part of the world is immune to these calamities.
In Ghana, this suffering manifests in economic hardships, frequent automobile accidents, personal misfortunes, tragedies, adversities, and premature deaths. According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, the root cause of Ghana’s plight is spiritual disobedience. Despite the presence of the Messenger of God (Nyame Somafo) among them, the people have largely failed to embrace Him, His divine message, and the New Religion (Asomdwee Ntonton Som). He emphasizes that God’s punishment for disobedience is consistent with the precedents set in sacred history. During Noah’s era, humanity’s disobedience was met with floodwaters; in Lot’s time, it was fire. In this present age, God warns that diseases will be the instrument of punishment for those who reject His call.
Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh further explains that the two nations uniquely chosen by God—Israel and Saudi Arabia—are also mired in suffering. As nations designated by divine will to uphold His religion, they should be immune to such afflictions. Yet they suffer profoundly. Why?
God has revealed to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh that arrogance among the people and their leaders lies at the heart of their tribulations. In Israel, the populace is aware that the End-Time Messiah and the long-anticipated Elijah have arrived. Yet, they refuse to acknowledge His presence. Compounding their sin, Israel continues to shed innocent blood. According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, the contested land in Gaza, claimed by Israel, does not rightfully belong to them.
In Saudi Arabia, the suffering is attributed to racism and racial discrimination. Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh recalls the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), who, upon arriving in Medina, reminded the people that all humanity, irrespective of skin color, descends from Adam. The Prophet urged them to reject division and prejudice based on race. However, modern Arabia has strayed from this ideal and perpetuates racial hierarchies. Additionally, they, too, are aware of the arrival of Elijah (Mahdi) but have refused to acknowledge His presence.
Through these revelations, Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh invites humanity to reflect on its spiritual shortcomings and heed the divine call. He warns that the persistence of arrogance, disobedience, and neglect of sacred teachings will only deepen the suffering that engulfs the world.
