You Have Been Worshipping God the Wrong Way—That’s Why You’re Not Getting the Results You Want. Here’s the Right Way to Worship

Written by Mensah Adinkrah, Ph.D.

According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, many people have not been worshipping God the way He desires—and that’s the reason they are not seeing results in their lives. If you want God to bless you, you must worship Him the right way. Without this, the blessings you seek will not come.

Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh explains that many people expect God to first heal their sickness, make their businesses succeed, bless their marriages, or give them children—and then, afterward, they will thank Him with offertory or gifts. But that, he says, is not how God works. God has never operated this way and never will.

The right way, according to Somafo Yawoh, is to first show faith by giving to God—before receiving your blessing. You must offer your offertory first, and then God will respond with healing, prosperity, and favor. This is the divine principle: do your part first, and God will fulfill His promise.

He supports this teaching with Exodus 23:25-26, which clearly outlines the link between worship and blessing:

“Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.”

In other words, God promises healing, fruitfulness, and long life—but only after you worship Him.

Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh also refers to Matthew 6:31-33, where Jesus urges people not to worry about their daily needs, but to first seek God:

“So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

The message is clear: seek God first. Worship Him first. Give first. Then, and only then, will the blessings follow.

According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, if you’ve been waiting to receive before you give, it’s time to change direction. Start by putting God first—not only in words, but in action. That’s the path to real transformation.
