Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh Chastises Ghanaian Christian Pastors: He Says They Make Predictions, Not Prophecies

Written by Mensah Adinkrah, Ph.D.

In recent years, many Ghanaian pastors have claimed to prophesy about political events—predicting which party will win national elections, which leader will emerge victorious, or which prominent celebrity, politician, or wealthy figure will die. Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, the Promised Messiah, the End-of-Days Elijah, and Founder of Asomdwee Ntonton Som, dismisses these pronouncements as evidence of spiritual fraudulence. According to him, they do not reflect the voice of the Creator of Heaven and Earth (RABBI), but rather the deceptive glimpses granted by malevolent forces.

Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh has declared that the utterances of Ghanaian Christian pastors cannot rightly be called prophecies. What they deliver, he insists, are mere predictions. True prophecy, he explains, is not a short-term forecast of immediate events but a revelation that stretches into the far future—sometimes even a hundred years ahead. Such declarations, he argues, can only come from genuine Messengers of God who are directly sent by the Most High.

It is this ability to speak with divine authority about the distant future, Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh maintains, that distinguishes authentic messengers of God from the charlatan Christian pastors who dominate Ghana’s pulpits. These pastors, He contends, do not originate from God, nor do they have any direct communication with Him. Whatever insights they claim to possess are not divine revelations but whispers from evil spirits. These spirits, though capable of perceiving fragments of what lies ahead, remain bound by their limited power.

For this reason, Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh has issued a stern warning to both the government and the people of Ghana: shun these false prophets. To follow them, he warns, is to be led astray, drawn away from the path of God, and set on a course toward eternal damnation. On the Day of Judgment, Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi  Nyame Somafo Yawoh cautions, the deception of these false preachers will end only in Hell.
