“Prayer and Fasting Do Not Work in These Contemporary Times,” Says Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh
Written by Mensah Adinkrah, Ph.D.
In the ancient days, the Most High God RABBI gave prayer and fasting to humanity as the form for worshipping Him. During those early times, when God established the First and Second Religions—Judaism and Islam—He commanded His people to pray and to fast as acts of obedience, humility, and devotion. These practices were effective in their time because they aligned with the divine order that governed those eras.
However, Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh teaches that those eras have ended. The age of prayer and fasting has passed, and a new divine order has been established for the End of Days. This is why prayer and fasting no longer work for people in contemporary times. Across Ghana and throughout the world, people attend church services and mosque gatherings, engage in long hours of prayer, and hold all-night vigils. Yet, their lives remain filled with suffering, afflictions, accidents, hardships, misfortunes, calamities, and premature deaths.
The reason, as revealed by Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, is simple: during this End of Days, prayer and fasting do not work. The spiritual order that once empowered these acts has been withdrawn. In this era, when people pray and fast, they expose themselves to the attention and attacks of Satan. Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh says that when a person engages in prayer and fasting today, Satan begins to focus on that person. The more they pray and fast, the more they attract the attention of evil forces. It is therefore not surprising that so many people who pray and fast intensively experience unending struggles and misfortunes.
Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh explains that in this new period—the End of Days—the Most High God RABBI has given humanity a new form of worship. This is the form of worship ordained for Asomdwee Ntonton Som, the Third Religion of God. It is not by prayer and fasting, but by calling upon the Name of the Most High God.
God Himself declared this new order, saying: “Call on Me and I will answer you.” This divine instruction is found in Zephaniah 3:9, where the Most High says:
“For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.” — Zephaniah 3:9
The same divine message appears in the Holy Koran, Chapter 40:60, which says:
“And your Lord says, ‘Call upon Me; I will respond to you.’ Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell humiliated.” — Koran 40:60
This shows that calling on the Name of God is the true and universal form of worship for the End of Days.
Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh teaches that the Most High God RABBI has 3,000 Holy Names, and in this era, He desires that humanity call upon these Names. When they do so, He will answer them directly. This is the new covenant and the new path of divine communication given to humankind.
Therefore, in this end-time order, the form of worship acceptable to God is not fasting or prayer but calling upon His Holy Name—RABBI. This is the divine truth for this generation. Those who heed this message and call upon the Name of the Most High God RABBI will receive His response, guidance, protection, and blessings.
As it is written in Jeremiah 33:3:
“Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” — Jeremiah 33:3
Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh teaches that Satan fears those who call upon the Name of the Most High God in worship. The very moment the Name of God is invoked, the Devil flees at full speed and dares not approach.
Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh is the Founder and Spiritual Leader of Asomdwee Ntonton Som. He is the prophesied Elijah who was foretold to descend upon the earth in the End Times. Under His divine direction, He has constructed the Third Temple of God in Ekumfi Otuam, in the Central Region of Ghana.
