Messengers of God in History
Teachings of Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh
Written by Mensah Adinkrah, Ph.D.
According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, throughout history, many Messengers of God have descended to the earth. By the time of Noah’s Floods, Noah was recorded as the 2000th Messenger of God to have graced the earth. These messengers come from various divine lineages, including the Elijahs, the Etumfo (Nazarenes, e.g. Jesus Christ), the Abofo (e.g. Prophet Mohammed, Peace Be Unto Him), and the Esunsum (Spirits ). They serve as intermediaries between God and humanity, carrying out specific missions assigned to them by the Most High.
The Most Powerful Messengers
Among all the Messengers of God, the most powerful are the Messiahs, a category that includes Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him), and Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh. These Messiahs hold a unique position of authority and reverence, with their teachings and missions shaping the spiritual and moral fabric of societies across time.
How Messengers Communicate with the Divine
According to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, Messengers of God do not “see” visions or images. Instead, they hear directly from a heavenly voice. This divine communication is facilitated by Angel Gabriel, but it is important to note that God created two Angel Gabriels: the Smaller Angel Gabriel and the Larger Angel Gabriel. The Smaller Angel Gabriel speaks with messengers who belong to the Atumfo, Asunsum, and Abofo. On the other hand, the Larger Angel Gabriel communicates with messengers from the Elijah lineage.
The Destinies of Messengers
Every Messenger of God is believed to have foreknowledge of how their earthly journey will end. For instance, Daniel, known as one of the Messengers of God, was aware of his divine purpose and the eventual end of his mission. This understanding underscores the profound spiritual connection these individuals maintain with their Creator.
The Rising Power of Satan
The spiritual battle between good and evil remains central to the role of Messengers. Satan’s strength is said to have historically been measured at 70,000. However, in contemporary times, new deviant spirits have descended upon the earth, amplifying Satan’s strength to an astounding 700 billion. These spirits are believed to aid Obonsam (Satan), intensifying the struggle between the forces of light and darkness.
