A Divine Intervention
How Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh
Resolved My Squirrel Dilemma from 6,000 Miles Away
Written by Mensah Adinkrah, Ph.D.
On March 16, 2025, at 2:59 PM, a remarkable event occurred in an American city in Michigan. Despite being approximately 6,000 miles away in Ekumfi Otuam, Ghana, Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh performed a miracle that I feel compelled to share.
For nearly seven months, I had been dealing with a persistent squirrel problem. When I purchased my newly constructed home in 2015, I did not realize that the three beautiful pillars at the front were left unsealed at the top by the construction company. This oversight allowed a squirrel to enter one of the hollow wooden pillars, creating a significant nuisance that disrupted our peace.
Attempts to drive the squirrel away were futile, as it would continually return. Some speculated that it might have nested or stored food inside the pillar. In the United States, squirrels can cause considerable property damage, such as chewing electrical wires, leading to costly repairs—sometimes amounting to $9,000—or even house fires. This situation caused me considerable concern.
To resolve the issue, I tried various repellents, including “Repels-All” and “Squirrel Stopper,” Shake Away Fox Urine Granules,” applying them around the house and pillars without success. I also used mothballs, a commonly recommended deterrent, placing them inside the hollow pillar, but the squirrel remained undeterred. I attempted to block its entry by placing bricks over the pillar tops, but the squirrel managed to squeeze through due to their flexible bodies. At one point, it even began chewing the wooden pillars. I installed motion detectors designed to emit alarms and flashing lights to scare it away; however, these measures proved ineffective, and I struggled to get the sound feature to work. This led to months of frustration.
I attempted various scents reputed to repel squirrels, including cayenne pepper, hyssop, eucalyptus, and apple cider vinegar, but none proved effective; the squirrel continued to visit undeterred. I then purchased a water squirt gun and used it to repel the animal; however, it would merely hop away, returning minutes or hours later, seemingly unfazed.
Finally, I hired a pest control professional who set traps, charging $200 per captured squirrel—a reduced rate from the original $225. Despite his confidence in the bait used, after nearly three weeks, the squirrel remained uncaptured.
In my desperation, I turned to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, whose miracles I had heard and witnessed through various testimonies. On March 16, 2025, during a scheduled virtual meeting with individuals from the United States, England, and Europe facing unique challenges, I sought His assistance. With permission from the event organizer, I directly explained my ongoing battle with the squirrel to Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, seeking guidance or an exaltation to repel it. He responded with a smile, requested my contact information—both landline and cellphone—and assured me that the squirrel would not return. I am overjoyed to report that since that day, the squirrel has not reappeared. From approximately 6,000 miles away, Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh addressed a problem that had resisted numerous conventional solutions. This experience reaffirms my belief in His divine mission and the power of His words. Truly, He is a messenger of God, whose influence transcends continents and oceans to manifest solutions where all else has failed. Rabbi Ye Kese, Oye Kese Ampa.
