If The Most High God Loves Us, Then Why Did He Send Satan onto the Earth to Trouble Us? The Teachings of Okronkronyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh
The question is often asked by laypersons: If God loved us so much, as He professes to love His children, then why did He send Satan onto the earth to lead us astray, and to torment us? Nyame Somafo Yawoh teaches us that it is inaccurate to say that the Most High God sent Satan onto the earth to trouble humankind and to lead them astray. According to Nyame Somafo Yawoh, The Most High God did not send Satan onto the earth to torment humankind. He states that Satan’s presence on the earth is based on a pact or an agreement that the Most High God made with Satan. It is important to realize that the substance of the agreement was not designed to have Satan torment humankind.
According to Nyame Somafo Yawoh, this is how Satan came down onto the earth: In the beginning the Most High God created the heavens and the earth. Then He created the spirits—etumfo (mighty spirits), esunsum (spirits) and abɔfo (angels). One day, the Most High God informed all the spiritual entities about his intention to create a human being to be placed on earth and to be responsible for all His creation on earth. The spiritual entities were unhappy and astonished. They wondered why Rabbi wanted to create human beings. They said to the Most High God: we have been here with you, worshipping you, singing your praises, exalting you, and all that. Have we ever been derelict in our worship of you, they asked, as they tried fruitlessly to get the Most High God to reconsider His decision about creating a human being. The Most High God did not relent, and proceeded to create the human being, Adam. Then to make the earth habitable for Adam, the Most High God populated the earth with plants, trees, animals, and all that is within it.
After this was complete, the Most High God invited all the spiritual entities to provide names for the animals, plants, and all the other things that He had populated the earth with. They could not. They asked the Most High God to tell them the hidden names since He was the most High God and the one who was all-knowing (omniscient). The Most High God invited Adam to come and name them. Adam performed marvelously, giving names to all that the Most High God had created. For his commendable effort, the Most High God asked the spiritual entities to prostrate themselves before Adam and show him reverence. All of them did, with the exception of Satan. According to Nyame Somafo Yawoh, Satan said He would not bow down to a creation made from dirt. Satan said he himself had been created with fire and it was not befitting his status to bow down to something that had been created with dirt. The Most High God said that Satan was haughty and arrogant. For his punishment, The Most High God asked Satan to leave the Heavens to go and live on earth. To this, Satan said: I have lived with you and served you faithfully. You are sending me onto the earth which is desolate and without any fun. Give me the appropriate compensation. It is important to note that at that time, Satan was the most powerful of all the spiritual entities created by The Most High God in the Heavens. Satan was second only to the Elijahs but note that the Elijahs were not created. They simply came out of Rabbi, at his command. According to Nyame Somafo Yawoh, the only created spirit that Satan did not supersede in power was the Angel of Death. In fact, Satan hailed from the same spiritual realm where Moses and Jesus came from. Satan was that powerful!!!
God made a pact with Satan. He stated: I am sending Adam onto the earth to worship me. He will procreate and have several descendants. I want Adam and his descendants to worship me. Those who are disobedient and refuse to worship me, I offer them to you. Satan agreed and then left the heavens for the earth. As humans, we have freewill. We can exercise our freewill to worship God. We also have the freewill not to worship Him. If we worship the Most High God, we will not fall under the clutches and control of Satan. But if we refuse to worship God, we become the enemies of God. When we become the enemies of God, Satan becomes fond of us, and we become followers of Satan. It is important to know that Satan has nothing useful to give to his followers except to torment them.
According to Nyame Somafo Yawoh, Satan is the King of Greed. Even though the agreement with the Most High God directed Satan to take control of only those who deviate from the Most High God’s will, Satan, in his greed, has a desire to expand his kingdom by capturing as many of God’s children as is possible. Satan has set a trap for humanity. He instructs people to make idols and statues that he claims are symbols of the Most High God. He then directs them to place their petitions, requests, or supplications before the statues and idols. When they do so, Satan in his deception, goes to fulfill those petitions, requests, and supplications. When this happens, people come to believe rather erroneously that God has fulfilled their petitions, requests, or supplications. Satan knows that the Most High God is a jealous God, and that He reviles those who have other gods beside Him. People become enemies of the Most High God when they accept other gods beside Him. Thus, they immediately join the ranks of Satan’s friends and allies. The truth is that Satan has no good things to offer his friends and allies except horrible things such as accidents, misfortune, calamities, poverty, hunger, illnesses, addictions, divorces, unemployment, untimely or premature deaths, and all the other forms of disasters and tragedies.
Because the Most High God is so merciful and caring towards us, He regularly sends His messengers to come onto the earth to rescue His children from the influence and control of Satan. Nyame Somafo Yawoh teaches us that by the time of Noah’s floods, The Most High God had sent 2,000 messengers to His people. Nyame Somafo Yawoh teaches that none of the Messengers was able to fully withstand the wiles of Satan, so people continue to stray and go to Satan. According to Nyame Somafo Yawoh, Satan is only afraid of the Elijah’s. This explains why in the end of days, the Most High God has sent Nyame Somafo Yawoh, a Level 7 Elijah, and the most powerful of all of God’s messengers, to come onto the earth to establish God’s true and most powerful religion on earth, and to lead His people to Him, and away from Satan. According to Nyame Somafo Yawoh, Satan is only afraid of the Elijah’s.
