RABBI, the Elijahs, and the Formation of Humanity
Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh Explains Genesis 1:26
Written by Mensah Adinkrah, Ph.D.
Genesis 1:26 states: “Then God said, ‘Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.’”
Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh has provided insights into two important questions arising from this passage. The first is: To whom was RABBI speaking when He said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness”? According to Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, RABBI was addressing the nine Elijahs who assisted Him in completing 90% of the work of creation.
The phrase “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness” is, according to Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, a reference to bestowing upon humans the capacity for thought and reasoning. Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh teaches that this ability to think, provided through the brain, is what distinguishes humanity and enabled Adam to name God’s creations. Angels and many other spiritual entities, as He has explained in previous teachings, lack this capacity for thought, which is why they could not perform the task of naming God’s creations.
Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh further teaches that Adam was created in the Heaven of Heavens before being brought down to earth. Formed from soil or clay, his creation took place under unique circumstances. RABBI, who resides in the topmost of the 38 heavens—90 billion miles above the earth’s surface—is composed of an intense and consuming fire. Were RABBI to descend closer to the earth, His fiery presence would cause it to burn. Therefore, it was the Elijahs who descended to the earth to gather the soil or clay needed for Adam’s formation.
In this sacred act of creation, Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh played a critical role. He was responsible for forming Adam’s bones, veins, teeth, and eyes. This divine involvement explains why, when Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh places His hands and commands the restoration of these elements, the command is fulfilled.
Finally, after Adam’s body was formed, RABBI Himself breathed life into Adam. As Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh emphasizes, only RABBI possesses the power to give life, making this act uniquely His.
Conclusion
Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh continues to illuminate the teachings of the Most High God, RABBI, through His divine revelations to the world. According to Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, the creation of humanity as described in Genesis 1:26 demonstrates the profound wisdom and purpose of RABBI. Assisted by the nine Elijahs, Adam was formed in the heavens and endowed with the unique capacity for thought, distinguishing him from all other creations.
Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh emphasizes His critical role in this process, contributing to the intricate physical design of humanity. However, it was ultimately RABBI who breathed the gift of life into Adam, highlighting that life itself is a sacred power that belongs solely to Him. This divine act of creation reflects the meticulous care and intentionality of RABBI, reaffirming the sacred bond between the Creator and His creation.
