Satan and the Origins and Global Spread of Idol Worship
The Teachings of Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh

Idol worship, or the veneration of physical objects as divine or spiritually potent, has been a pervasive feature of religious practice in many parts of the world. According to the teachings of Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, the origins of idol worship are not rooted in divine instruction but rather in the deceptive machinations of Satan.
Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh asserts that Satan was the original author of idolatry, having introduced the concept to humanity as part of his broader scheme to divert attention and reverence away from the Most High God RABBI.
According to His teaching, Satan implanted within the minds of human beings the idea to craft physical representations—idols—out of materials such as wood, stone, or metal. These objects, lifeless and shaped by human hands, were then designated as objects of worship. Satan did not stop at the mere suggestion of idol creation; he instructed humanity to begin directing their prayers, petitions, and desires toward these man-made figures. This marked the beginning of a profound spiritual misdirection.
The spiritual deception deepened when people began to see their requests—made to the idols—apparently fulfilled. But as Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh clarifies, it is not the idols themselves that bring about these outcomes. Rather, it is Satan who stealthily intervenes to grant the requests, thereby reinforcing the illusion that the idols possess power. This strategic act of deception ensures that people continue to revere and rely on idols, unaware that they are engaging in a practice rooted in spiritual falsehood.
It is this spiritual dynamic, according to Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, that explains the global spread of idol worship. As more individuals witnessed what they believed to be the efficacy of idols, the practice gained traction, moving from one community to another, from one nation to the next. Over generations, what began as a diabolical lie became embedded in cultural and religious traditions across the world.
In this view, idol worship is not merely a cultural artifact or a misunderstood expression of religious piety, but a spiritually engineered system of deception. Its continued prevalence is seen as evidence of Satan’s ongoing influence over the hearts and minds of humanity. Thus, Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh calls for a return to the worship of the true and living God RABBI, unmediated by images or objects, and grounded in spiritual truth rather than illusion.
