Seeking Help from Spiritualists Blocks Entry to Heaven, Says Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh

Written by Mensah Adinkrah, Ph.D.

In Ghana, many people turn to spiritualists for guidance, protection, or assistance in their lives. Some seek help to gain wealth, others to have children, improve their health, expand political influence, or succeed academically. Others look for spiritual or physical protection to avoid harm or misfortune.

Spiritualists often provide substances or objects meant to help clients achieve their desires. These can include powders, oils, waters, pomades, or potions. Some rituals require the sacrifice of animals, using their blood or body parts to empower the practice. In extreme cases, people are instructed to make cuts or incisions on their bodies, into which substances are rubbed so they enter the bloodstream. Sometimes, these incisions are made by the spiritualists themselves, who apply their prescribed substances directly.

Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh teaches that anyone who has participated in such practices—whether by ingesting substances, applying potions, or undergoing rituals—is unable to enter heaven. In the eyes of the Most High God RABBI, such a person is spiritually filthy, like a swine (pig) wallowing in a filthy gutter. This represents the deep uncleanliness and spiritual defilement caused by breaking God’s law.

He explains that these acts violate the most fundamental commandment of God: there is only one God, and no other should be worshipped. The Bible is clear on this principle:

  • Exodus 20:3 (KJV) – “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”

  • Deuteronomy 5:7 (KJV) – “Thou shalt have none other gods before me.”

  • Deuteronomy 6:14 (KJV) – “Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you.”

Seeking help from spiritualists is therefore equivalent to accepting another god besides the Most High God. It is a direct violation of God’s law, turning a person away from the worship of the Creator, who commands absolute allegiance.

Among the various forms of spiritual practices, Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh identifies the most dangerous as those rituals where the body is cut and substances are rubbed into the blood. He explains that this is the work of Satan himself, representing the deepest spiritual violation. These acts allow evil to enter the body and blood, creating a powerful bond with the spiritual forces of darkness.

Some may argue that they are not guilty because they personally have never consulted a spiritualist or taken any substances. Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh warns that every Ghanaian is affected, because these practices may have been carried out by parents, grandparents, or even great-grandparents. Such actions create intergenerational curses, passed down through the bloodstream from one generation to the next. Even those who have never participated in these practices themselves may still carry the spiritual consequences.

Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh teaches that the only way to break these curses and receive salvation is through divine cleansing under his guidance. A person must:

  1. Come to Him.

  2. Receive Holy Spirit and Fire Baptism, which purges the body, soul, and spirit of all spiritual contaminants.

  3. Walk around the Third Holy Temple in Ekumfi Otuam.

Through these acts, the spiritual impurities acquired from ancestral or personal involvement with spiritualists are removed. Only then is a person considered spiritually clean and eligible for salvation on the Day of Judgement.

Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh emphasizes that this message is not just a warning but also a pathway to redemption. He teaches that God is merciful and desires that all people be saved, but salvation requires complete obedience to His commands and the rejection of all false gods or spiritual practices.

This teaching aligns with the biblical admonition:

  • Exodus 34:14 (KJV) – “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.”

Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh’s teachings remind Ghanaians that spiritual purity is essential for eternal life. Anything less—seeking aid from spiritualists, ingesting mystical substances, or participating in ritualistic practices—is disobedience to God and a barrier to salvation.
