Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh teaches that the Most High God RABBI has revealed Himself to humanity through three divinely established Religions. Each of these Religions was planted in a specific nation chosen by God: ancient Israel, present-day Saudi Arabia, and present-day Ghana.
Each Religion was entrusted with a sacred scripture. Judaism received the Torah; Islam was given the Qur’an; and Asomdwee Ntonton Som received the Tum Nwoma, which means The Book of Power.
In addition, each Religion was given a sacred language through which divine truths are communicated. The sacred language of Judaism is Hebrew; for Islam, it is Arabic; and for Asomdwee Ntonton Som, it is Fante Twi.
According to Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, Judaism was given ten divine laws, Islam was given nine, and Asomdwee Ntonton Som was given seven. This article explores the seven divine laws of Asomdwee Ntonton Som and their spiritual meaning.
1. Believe that God is One. Also, believe that Nyame Somafo Yawoh is sent by God.
The first law is about belief in the Oneness of God and in the Divine Mission of Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh. According to this law, believers must affirm that there is only one true God. They must also recognize that Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh has been divinely sent and appointed by God. All spiritual guidance and support must come from Him alone. Followers are strictly forbidden from seeking spiritual help from any other source. True belief in Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh as God’s messenger is demonstrated through full obedience to His teachings. Such obedience confirms both the authenticity of His divine calling and the sincerity of one’s faith.
2. Love Completely and Wholeheartedly
This law calls on believers to show love that is sincere, unconditional, and unwavering. According to the teachings of Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, true love does not engage in gossip or speak ill of others behind their backs. Genuine love respects others and upholds the truth. Believers are instructed to speak only of what they have personally witnessed, not to spread hearsay or rumors. Love, in its purest form, builds community, fosters peace, and reflects the spirit of God.
3. Speak the Truth Always
Believers are commanded to speak the truth at all times. According to the teachings of Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, truthfulness is a divine virtue, while lying is the chief trait of Satan. To follow the path of righteousness, one must reject falsehood in all its forms and commit fully to honesty in speech and action. Truth is the foundation of trust, justice, and spiritual integrity.
4. Practice Patience and Understanding
Believers are encouraged to cultivate patience and understanding in all aspects of life. Patience allows the mind and spirit to settle, creating space for true understanding to emerge. According to the teachings of Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, understanding leads to power and spiritual liberation. Through patience, believers gain insight; through understanding, they grow in strength and freedom.
5. Speak Only of What You Have Witnessed
Believers are instructed to avoid false testimony, hearsay, and the spread of unverified information. According to the teachings of Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, speaking only of what one has personally witnessed helps preserve truth and prevents harm. This practice nurtures peace within the community and guards against division, suspicion, and unnecessary conflict.
6. Do Not Defraud Anyone
Believers are strictly forbidden from cheating, deceiving, or taking advantage of others. According to the teachings of Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, acts of fraud not only harm others but also bring trouble upon oneself. Honesty and fairness in all dealings uphold righteousness and protect both the individual and the community from conflict and misfortune.
7. Respect Your Parents and Elders
Believers are commanded to show deep respect to their parents and to all elderly individuals. According to the teachings of Ɔkrɔnkrɔnyi Nyame Somafo Yawoh, honoring those who came before us is a sacred duty. Those who observe this law demonstrate humility, gratitude, and wisdom—and such individuals are said to desire, and be granted, a long and fulfilling life.
